Tri-Model Integration is a research paper focused on analyzing the three different housing typologies found on Tesistán, a small urban settlement within the limits of Greater Guadalajara Area. The paper first presents a background on the social housing situation found in Mexico in recent years. After, it studies two examples of progressive housing in other Latin American countries. It analyzes Tesistan, its three housing typologies (foundational town, developers housing & irregular settlements), and different urban conditions for each one.

After ample research has been conducted, Tri-Model Integration proposes different policies to better integrate these isolated communities, living around the same urban core, though in such different conditions. Different recommendations are submited in the process of improving life quality through urban planning  and urban design.
